Dr. Fahad Alsolami

King Abdulaziz University

Fahad Alsolami is an associate professor at the King Abdulaziz University and a cybersecurity consultant at the ministry of education in Saudi Arabia. His research focus is to secure sensitive data in the cloud. He is especially interested in cloud computing/storage, security, biometric and big data. The goal of his work is to protect the sensitive data from being compromised either from outsider attacks or insider attacks.

Dr. Alsolami is a native of Saudi Arabia and earned his Ph.D. in Engineering concentration in security from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs USA in 2015. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University and his M.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Denver, Denver Colorado USA. Before joining the King Abdulaziz University, he was a consultant researcher with Pearson Company in Denver, United State. He has also worked as a research at Vision and Security Technology (VAST) lab at UCCS. He has presented his work at several international conferences.
